Bethel Heights Vineyards
2014 Estate Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay
On the nose is ripe Anjou pear that shifts to white peach, then back again, with a lovely, gentle toasted oak spice. On the palate, the wine is round and fresh, with only faint oak presence, and excellent acidity without tartness. There is structure, balance, great texture and an elegant mid-palate, leading to a long finish. A beautiful Oregon Chardonnay!

Tart and spicy, this brings tangy berry, pie cherry and red currant fruit into focus, buoyed by sappy brambleberry juiciness. The tannins are still young and chewy and carry highlights of earth and sweet spice. This wine will age nicely and is perfect to put in your cellar. A perfect wine to pair with a nice juicy steak, a kicked-up spiced chop or a flourless chocolate torte.
